Garlic Mashed Red Potatoes

Garlic Mashed Red Potatoes
*I don't follow this recipe strictly. I usually just adjust this depending on how garlicky I want them and just add the milk or cream until it's the right consistency.

1 1/2 lbs potatoes
2 to 3 tbs. butter (I use a little more)
2 to 3 cloves of garlic minced
1/2 cup milk or heavy cream

Boil potatoes and drain. In a saucepan melt a few tbs. of butter. Add 2 to 3 cloves of garlic (minced). Cook 1 to 2 minutes or until the garlic begins to get golden brown. Add butter and garlic to drained potatoes stir in about 1/2 cup of milk or cream and mash until they reach the desired consistency. Season with salt and pepper.
