Buttermilk Pancakes with Almond Butter Syrup



Buttermilk Pancakes with Almond Butter Syrup

4 1/4 cups flour
2 tbs. baking soda

3 tbs. baking powder

4 eggs

1 stick melted butter

1/4 cup sugar

4 cups buttermilk

This makes a ton so cut it in half for a more managable batch. Serve with Almond or Vanilla Butter Syrup. Also great with a spoonful of pie cherries on top.

Almond Butter Syrup

1 cup butter (2 sticks)

1 cup buttermilk

2 cups sugar

2 tbs. corn syrup

Boil for 3-5 minutes then remove from the heat and stir in :

1/2 tbs. almond extract or 1 tbs. vanilla for Vanilla Butter Syrup

1 tsp. baking soda
